Eligibility
Must be affiliated (either live within or are from) with a community from the Arctic Co-ops network (Arctic Bay, Arviat, Baker Lake, Cambridge Bay, Kinngait, Chesterfield Inlet, Colville Lake, Coral Harbour, Île-à-la-Crosse, Deline, Ft. Good Hope, Fort McPherson, Gjoa Haven, Grise Fiord, Hall Beach, Igloolik, Kimmirut, Kugaaruk, Kugluktuk, Lutsel K’e, Naujaat, Old Crow, Pangnirtung, Pond Inlet, Qikiqtarjuaq, Rankin Inlet, Resolute Bay, Sachs Harbour, Sanikiluaq, Taloyoak, Uluhaktok, Whale Cove, Yellowknife).
Must complete a high school education (or equivalent) by July 1st, 2023
Must be enrolled (or have intent to enroll) in a Post-Secondary program within the year 2023 (programs include any university or college institution, any trade or certification, and includes any programs provided by Nunavut College, Aurora College, or Yukon University).
Preference to students studying full-time within Canada
Awards
Arctic Co-operatives will award scholarships up to five new recipients each year, with a goal of awarding one student in each of the following regions: North Baffin, South Baffin, Kivalliq, Kitikmeot, and MacKenzie.
Each student scholarship recipient will receive an annual payment for three years, as long as the student is actively enrolled in Post-Secondary education/training in the current year and has communicated intent to register for courses in the upcoming year, as follows:

*To be considered Co-op affiliated, you should meet one or more of the following:
You are a member of your local co-op
You currently work or volunteer at your local co-op
Your parent or guardian is an employee or Member/Owner of your local co-op
Selection Process
Applications open Monday, June 5, and close Friday, June 30, 2023.
Scholarship winners will be announced in August, 2023.
